The Schilling Test normal value range stores values for the percent of Cobalt 57 which has 
been excreted in a patient’s urine. 
 
The DICOPAC

®

 Test normal value range stores values for the percent of Cobalt 57 and 

Cobalt 58 which have been excreted in a patient’s urine, and the ratio of Cobalt 57 to Cobalt 
58. 
 
The RBC Survival Test normal value range stores a value for the time period in days when 
50% of tagged red blood cells remain. 
 
To exit and save the Normal Values information entered, select the 

DONE

 button and you 

will return to the Main Menu screen of the CAPTUS

®

 2000 software.  Selecting the 

CANCEL

 

button will exit the Normal Values screen without saving entered data. 
 
 

REFERENCE STANDARDS 

The Reference Standards module stores calibration information on reference standards.  The 
module is only a data base for information.  No MCA functions are active in Reference 
Standards.  The information entered is accessed in the Isotope Library module for 
radioactive decay correction, efficiency measurements and calibration.  To enter information 
on your reference sources, select
