those isotopes which have an efficiency stored in memory, the count rate will be converted to

In addition, for the full spectrum, total cpm, background cpm, net cpm, and the activity will be 
displayed.  Those wipes which exceed the preset trigger will be noted by two asterisks (a ** 
symbol).  The wipe test results will automatically be saved to a special wipe test file. 
 

NOTE:

  Many people have nuclear medicine management systems which perform all the 

wipe test calculations.  If you have one of these systems and only want to record the full 
spectrum background and total wipe counts, you can retrieve that information from this 
screen. 
 

 
Adding Text Comments 

The CAPTUS

®

 2000 software enables the user to add free text comments which appear on 

the wipe test printed report.  Note that the comments do not appear on the display screen.
