Yes to delete and No to cancel the delete command and return to the previous
screen. If Yes is selected, the software will again request confirmation of the delete
command. Figure 8-36 will appear.

Yes to delete all Blood Volume data and No to cancel the delete command and
return to the previous screen. The system will continue to accumulate patient data
indefinitely. This will eventually result in a very long library list to sort. A recommended
procedure is to periodically (monthly or quarterly) archive the patient data for reference, and
then delete all data from the Blood Volume Test library. Alternatively, if you do not need to
archive patient results, at the end of each quarter, print a hard copy report for each patient
and then delete all non active patients.
Making Measurements
After the counting protocol has been defined, and patient information entered, begin the
measurement process by choosing the
COUNT button. The Blood Volume Test Data
Acquisition screen will appear, as shown in Figure 8-37. To exit the Data Acquisition screen
at any time choose the
EXIT button. To begin counting, choose the START PROCEDURE
button.
