Once all of the required information has been entered, exit the screen by selecting the
DONE
button. The information which has been entered will be saved to the Bioassay database file.
Note that the software requires the entry of all non optional fields before exiting through the
DONE button. To exit the screen without saving any information, choose the CANCEL
button
EDITING STAFF INFORMATION
If you wish to review or edit any information which has already been entered on a staff
member, first select the desired person from the Staff Directory list on the main Bioassay
Test screen, then choose the
EDIT button. The information will be retrieved and displayed
on the screen. Note that the ID appears in blue, and cannot be changed. Each ID must be
unique to insure that results are always stored in the correct file. If the ID has been entered
incorrectly, you must delete the person, and re-enter under the correct ID. After any changes
have been made, select the
DONE button to save the changed information. CANCEL will
exit the screen without saving any changes.
DELETING STAFF INFORMATION
The staff demographic data will remain in an alphabetical order in the Bioassay Directory
until deleted. The bioassay measurements will be stored under each person in chronological
order. To delete all of the information on a given person, first select the person from the
Directory list on the Main Bioassay test screen (Figure 9-1). Then choose the
DELETE
button. Figure 9-9 will appear and ask you to confirm the delete command. Select Yes to
delete, or No to undo the delete command and return to the previous screen.

To delete all staff members and data in the Bioassay library, select
Delete All from the menu
bar located at the top of the main Bioassay screen. Figure 9-10 will appear and require
confirmation to proceed with the delete command.
