Deleting Patient Information
The patients will remain in an alphabetical order in the Patient Directory until deleted. Note
that only the most recent test data and results are stored for each patient. As each new test
is begun, the previous test data is deleted. To delete all of the information on a given patient,
first select the patient from the Patient Directory list on the Main DICOPAC Test screen
(Figure 8-17). Then choose the
DELETE button. The software will present a pop up box as
shown in Figure 8-19, and ask you to confirm the delete command. Select Yes to delete, or
No to undo the delete command and return to the previous screen.

To delete all patients and data in the patient library, select
Delete All from the menu bar
located at the top of the Main Thyroid Uptake screen. Figure 8-20 will appear and require
confirmation to proceed with the delete command.

Choose
Yes to delete and No to cancel the delete command and return to the previous
screen. If Yes is selected, the software will again request confirmation of the delete
command. Figure 8-21 will appear.
