DisplayString Read-Write

An administratively-assigned name for this node. By convention, this is the
node’s fully qualified domain name. The LCM prompt consists of sysName
followed by “>”. (LCM is a non-intelligent terminal interface that can be used to
configure and monitor status for the unit.)

DisplayString Read-Write

The physical location of the unit.

sysServices

Integer Read-Only

The sum of the services supported by the unit. Values include:

•

(2) - the unit is a bridge only

•

(4) - the unit is an IP router only

Integer Read-Only

The number of ports (whether alive or dead), including the UART, as indicated
by the Configuration EEPROM. The actual ports (as indicated by the types of the
boards currently present in the IOM slots) are not part of this MIB parameter;
however, the unit tends to automatically adjust its Configuration EEPROM to
match the boards that are currently present.
