filterOffset {filterEntry 14}
Integer Read-Write
Zero-based offset of an arbitrary field within the packet. Depending upon the
value of filterFlags, the offset is relative to the start of the translated packet,
beginning with the big endian MAC addresses; or, the offset is relative to the start
of the data past the IP header (and, the packet must be an IP packet with a valid
IP header); or, the offset is relative to the start of the data past the Source Routing
information (presence of Source Routing information is optional); Refer to the
packet translation and canonical format figures in Appendix A “Packet
Translation Procedure”, to determine the desired offsets for translated packets.
filterField {filterEntry 15}
Octet String Read-Write
An 8 octet value to be compared to the contents of the arbitrary field within the
packet.
filterMask {filterEntry 16}
Octet String Read-Write
An 8 octet mask to be applied to the arbitrary field within the packet, before
comparing it to filterField.
filterThreshold {filterEntry 17}
Integer Read-Write
The number of filter invocations at which an alarm to the NMS should be
generated.
filterThreshTime {filterEntry 18}
Integer Read-Write
The length of time, in seconds, to which filterThreshold applies. A value of zero
indicates that no alarms should be sent to the NMS. Values greater than 3600
(i.e., one hour) are not allowed.
filterThreshFlag {filterEntry 19}
Integer Read-Only
Whether usage of this filter has exceeded the limits specified by filterThreshold
and filter, and the NMS has not yet acknowledged the alarm. Therefore,
whenever the NMS reads this value, it will always be False; however, the NMS
may receive alarms (i.e., enterprise specific trap PDUs) with this value set to
True.
