ATX MIB Reference Guide

hwPortStatus

{hwEntry 10}

Octet String Read-Only

A 4 byte array, where each element represents the status of the port belonging to 
this module . Values of 01 (status-good) or hex ff (status-bad) are supported. For 
the Packet Processing Engine, the first byte is the status of the UART port.

{hwEntry 12}

Octet String Read-Only

A 4 byte array, where each element represents the port types defined for the 
module. If hwDefPortType does not match hwPortType, then the port will not be 
used. Note that hwDefPortType can only be changed by rebooting the unit.

MacAddress Read-Only 

The unique hard-wired 48 bit MAC address for the module’s 1st port. For the 
Packet Processing Engine, it’s a unique MAC address to be used as part of the 
unit’s Spanning Tree Bridge Identifier. Not applicable for the Turbo.

MacAddress Read-Only 

A unique hard-wired 48 bit MAC address for the modules’s 2nd port, only 
applicable for IOMs.

applicable for IOMs.

applicable for IOMs.

Boolean Read-Only

The temperature condition of the module, where True indicates temperature okay, 
and False indicates temperature too hot.
