Overview of
System
Start-Up
Once the transducers are installed on the pipe, the meter must be restarted before flow
measurements begin. When operating in the Transit Time mode, a zero flow calibration
should be performed. Zero calibration is not required when operating in the Doppler
mode. There must be no movement of fluid in the pipe during the zero calibration.
MODEL S3
Sonic-Pro Model S3
includes a full
featured display with a 5 button touch pad.
The start-up process and the zero
calibration can be performed by pressing the
proper buttons on the touch pad.
Sonic-Pro Model S2
includes a basic
display with a 2 button touch pad. The start-
up process and the zero calibration can be
performed by removing the front cover plate
and pressing the setup button located on the
circuit board.
Note that the
Sonic-Pro Model S1
has no display or
touch pad. The start-up process and the zero
calibration can be performed by removing
the front cover plate and pressing the setup
button located on the circuit board.

be performed by the optional remote PC
software application.
