Administrator Program Preparation & Setup
Administrators can follow the detailed steps in this chapter to add or change users, passwords, reagents, and protocols.
Summary of Administrator vs. Regular User Profile
Below is a summary of the features that are available for an administrator and a regular user.
Action Buttons Administrator
Regular User
Reagent Manager Add, modify or delete reagents. Add, modify or delete reagents.
Template Manager Add, modify or delete template protocols.
Modify templates only, adding and deleting
templates is restricted.
Software Settings Set Instrument Parameters, Notifications and Alarms. No Access Allowed.
User Accounts Add, delete or modify accounts including passwords. Change password.
Assign or Modify Users
Only administrators can assign or modify user accounts. Regular users can only modify their passwords.
• From the Home Screen select Data Manager and click User Accounts.
• The User Manager window will appear.
• To add a new user, press the green Add (+) button at the bottom left side of the screen.
