Run Designation Buttons

Run Designation Buttons on the Home Screen provides access to Prepare Slides, Map Slides, Print Reports and Cancel Run. These
options allow the user to quickly and seamlessly start a run.

Action Buttons

Description

Prepare Slides

This option is the starting point to preparing a run; add, copy, delete or import slides for a run, and select
or modify protocols.

Map Slides

Allow assignment of protocol or prepared slides by manually mapping to a specific tray location.

Print Reports

View and print IHC Summary, IHC Report, IHC Short Report and Protocol Validation.

Cancel Run

Allows user to abort a run. This button is red when a run is in process.

Menu Bar

The menu bar in the upper left corner of the VALENT application’s main screen and provides access to a number of functions.

Staining Run

Staining Run allows the user to Cancel Run or Close the Application.
