Installation instructions
Ø
Make sure that the connection to the chimney is via a
90° bend which points upwards.
Exhaust pipe through the roof
DANGER
Fire hazard due to flammable exhaust
pipe.
Running a flammable exhaust pipe
through a second room or attic could
spread a fire into other rooms.
Ø
Ensure that the exhaust pipe is
made of non-combustible material in
accordance with DIN 4102 class A1.
ATTENTION
Water damage to the device caused by
lack of a condensation trap.
Ø
Fit a condensation trap to the
exhaust pipe.
If you run the exhaust pipe out through the roof, you
must ensure that:
§
The pipe diameter of the fan outlet is not larger than
the diameter of the roof feedthrough.
§
The roof feedthrough does not reduce the diameter
of the exhaust pipe.
§
A sufficiently large condensation trap is integrated
into the exhaust pipe that does not reduce the
diameter of the exhaust pipe.

If you run the exhaust pipe out through an exterior wall,
you must ensure that:

The diameter along the exhaust pipe is not smaller
than the diameter of the fan outlet.
§
The wall feedthrough does not reduce the diameter
of the exhaust pipe.
The wall box must meet the following requirements:
§
The diameter of the fan outlet must not be larger
than that of the wall box.
§
The wall box's louvred cover must have a large vent
area.
Ensure that:
§
The slats of the wall box's louvred cover are not
narrow and thick.
