Installation instructions
Connect the connection cables for the wall
box, P4 Multi and window contact switch

Only allow work on the power supply
to be carried out by qualified, trained
electricians adhering to the country-
specific regulations and standards
(e.g. in Germany DIN 57100 / VDE
0100, part 701).
Ø
Only allow a qualified electrician to carry out the
following steps.
You can connect the device to a window contact
switch, or a berbel P4 Multi under-pressure monitor
and a berbel wall box (e.g. BMK F). The cable clamps
for this are attached to the fan housing of the device.
Ø
Route the control cables for the window contact
switch or the berbel P4 Multi under-pressure monitor
to the extractor hood.
Ø
Lay the control cables from the wall box to the
extractor hood.

ATTENTION
You can damage the electronics if you
connect the control cables with the
wrong polarity.
Ø
Make sure that you connect the right
poles of the control cable.
Ø
Connect wire 1 to connector 1, and
wire 2 to connector 2.

Terminals for the wall box
The terminals for the wall box automatically control the
remote-controlled BMK wall box.
The control cable needs to be laid from the wall box to
the connection terminals for the wall box in the
extractor hood.
The terminals are marked in the extractor hood with
"BMK" or "wall box".
To connect the control cable, you need to attach the
two wires of the control cable to the terminals 1 and 2
for the wall box in the extractor hood. The wires are
marked with numbers. The control contact is potential-
free.
