Installation instructions

Description for the installer

Possible operating modes

The following illustrations show the way the
possible operating modes work. The devices
used are shown as symbols. The illustrations
are meant to serve as a guide. The device
displayed may differ in shape from your
device.

The device can be fitted in different operating modes:

§

Recirculated air mode

§

Extracted air mode

§

Hybrid mode

Depending on the desired operating mode, the
installation of the device varies. The different
installations of the individual operating modes are
described in the following sections.

Ø

Make sure that all safety instructions and regulations
are adhered to during installation.

Installation for recirculated air mode

In this installation a BUF recirculated air filter is fitted to
the device's fan outlet.

Ø

Make sure that the cross-section of the ventilation
slits in the top structure is more than 300 cm².

Ø

Make sure that the air can flow freely out of the
device.

Ø

Ensure that you can change the filter filling at a later
date.

The filter's filling needs to be regularly replaced.

Installation for extracted air mode

Observe and follow the information
concerning the exhaust pipe in the Information
about extracted air mode chapter.

In this installation the exhaust pipe is fitted to the
device's fan outlet.

Ø

Ensure that the diameter of the exhaust pipe is at
least 150 mm.

Ø

Make sure that the air can flow freely out of the
device.
