§

The wall box is closed when the control contacts in
the extractor hood are open (see wiring diagram).

§

The wall box is open when the control contacts in
the extractor hood are closed.

In the following section, the connection of the BMK F
model series wall box is described.

For this step you need a small cross-head screwdriver
for the terminals in the berbel extractor hood.

Ø

Lay the control cable from the wall box to the
extractor hood.

Ø

Make sure that the terminals for the wall box are
accessible in the extractor hood.

In the top corner of the control box are the terminals for
the window contact switch and the wall box contacts.
The terminals are labelled with "Fensterschalter"
(window switch) and "BMK" or "Mauerkasten" (wall
box). The terminal pairs are marked with 1 and 2.

To connect the control cable, proceed as follows:

Ø

Open the screw of the BMK terminal 1.

Ø

Take the wire 1 of the control cable.

Ø

Insert wire 1 into terminal 1.

Ø

Make sure that the wire-end ferrule of the control
cable is completely inserted into the terminal.

Ø

Make sure that the insulation of the control cable is
not in the terminal.

Ø

Tighten the screw of terminal 1.
