Insert the mains power plug into a power outlet.
The berbel hood is installed and ready for use.
Initial cleaning
ATTENTION
Damage to the surfaces from sharp
objects or abrasive cleaning agents.
Ø
Never use sharp objects, abrasive or
aggressive cleaning agents.
Ø
Use a soft, damp cloth.
Cleaning the surfaces
Ø
Clean the surfaces with a soft, damp cloth and a mild
household cleaner.
Ø
Dry the surfaces using a soft cloth.
Cleaning the controls
Ø
Clean the surface of the control panel with a soft,
damp cloth.
Ø
Dry the surfaces using a soft cloth.
Disassembling the device
DANGER
Lethal electric shock caused by
improperly performed electrical work.
Ø
Only allow work on the power supply
to be carried out by a qualified
electrician adhering to the country-
specific regulations and standards
(e.g. in Germany DIN 57100 / VDE
0100, part 701).
WARNING
Risk of falling when changing the filter.

Use a stable step-ladder.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from falling parts.
Ø
Ensure that no-one is underneath
the device while working.
ATTENTION
Damage caused by falling parts.
Ø
Protect areas and devices (e.g.
cooled cooking hob) underneath the
working area against damage, e.g.
using a thick piece of cardboard.
To remove the device you need the help of a second
person, a stable ladder and a Phillips screwdriver.
To remove the device, proceed as follows:
Ø
Disconnect the power supply to the device on all
poles.
Ø
Remove all added parts and covers above the
device.
Ø
Remove the mains plug.
Ø
Remove any connection cables for the wall box and
the window contact switch, if fitted.
