Degauss is activated 24 step = approx. 35 degrees before Position 1.
The Relative position, can be set between 0 and –60 degrees.
One step corresponds to approx. 1.5 degrees.
Factory setting ; -24 step = 35 (degrees) before postion 1
-60 degauss at power on, Position 0
0 degauss when reached Position 1
Correct degauss
Correct degauss will reduce the color impurity in the picture that might occur due
to disturbance from magnetic fields that are generated by e.g. the Earth field and
external loudspeakers.
Change Degauss position
It is not recommended to set the
Relative position
to a value lower than the
Factory setting, e.g. = -24, do not change to -25, -26, -27 or lower.
The start up procedure for the TV consist of
1. Turn TV on
2. Turn stand to degauss position
3. Degauss
4. Turn stand to position 1
5. The curtains opens
The setting of the
Relative position
is a compromise of minimizing the disturbance
from the magnetic fields in both viewing positions and minimizing the start up
time.
