→ Power supply of the operating computer
When the operating computer is attached to the holder (4) and a sufficiently charged battery is
in place and switched on, then the power for the operating computer is supplied by the bike.
When the operating computer is removed from the holder (4), the power is supplied by an
internal battery. If the internal battery charge is low, a text message ‘attach to bike’ is shown
on indication (c) for 3 s, when switching on the computer. Afterwards it switches off
automatically.
To recharge the internal battery, attach the operating computer to the holder (4).
The bike
battery must be in place and switched on (see battery operating instructions).
Intuvia can also be charged via an USB connection. For this, open the protective cap (8) of the
USB port
and connect it with a matching USB cable to a commercially available USB charger or
to the USB port of a computer (5 V charging voltage; max. 500mA charging current). Then ‘USB
connected’ is shown in the text indication (c)
of the display.
→ Power Supply of External Devices via USB Connection
By USB connection, it is possible to operate and charge most of the standard USB devices, like
e.g. navigator, mobile phone, music player, during Hybrid bike rides.
Prerequisite for the charging power is that the operating computer and a sufficiently charged
battery are in place and switched on.
Connect your USB device by a matching USB cable at the USB port of the operating computer
and check the charging function e.g. at a loading indication on your device.
