The bike must only be used as intended

The vehicle should be checked by a dealer/specialist prior to the first use
for transport
damage and proper assembly (esp. handlebar, stem, wheels, pedals), faultless features (esp.
brakes, drive unit, lighting) and completeness of equipment/parts
Before a ride make sure that the driver is familiar with the Pedelec operating instructions
(manual) and knows how to control major dangers/ risks at higher speeds
The vehicle also should fit or be adapted to the driver
(incl. frame, seat height, pedal
stroke, ground level, steering/ braking control, weight) and being well prepared for the
intended use (e. g. for roads, trails, weather, range) and maintained
Not permitted are changes to the bike structure and additional parts or charges, which
impair the safety
. The total weight of any load (rider + luggage) should not exceed more
than 120 kg
Luggage racks and towing loads should only be used on expert/dealer’s advice
. The load
limits of the bike and the additional equipment must not be exceeded, esp. max. payload of
the racks is 20 resp. 25 kg, max. towing loads are 30 resp. 40 kg
IMPORTANT: If hazards or risks in the use of Hybrid bike are ignored,
damage of property and
personal injury may occur
, which can be severe esp. in public traffic situations!

The following overview images with legends should help you to quickly capture & positioning
components/ features on your bike. As examples, you will find MH7 (Mobility series), XH9 (Off-
road/Xtreme series) and TH11 (Touring series) below.
Major parts - such as operating computer, battery, power switch, motor drive, brakes, gear -
are positioned the same on all models, so you will be right at home, even with a different bike
model.
At the end of the overview images you get an explanation (legend). The safe handling of the
individual components is described in the chapter ‘Complete equipment’. In addition you get
help for installation, care and maintenance in the instruction guides, supplied by the original
component manufacturers (enclosed in the bike box).
