Charging status of the battery
Beside the LED indicators on the battery, you can control the battery status during a ride on the
display (f) of the operating computer (3).
Each bar in the battery icon (f) corresponds with a capacity of about 20%:
100 % to 80 % of the capacity
20 % to 5 % of the capacity, the battery should be recharged.
Less than 5% of capacity, the e-drive support ends. The LEDs of the battery level
indicator expire
.
If the lighting is supplied by battery power (country specific), then the first appearance of the
battery icon ‘empty’ indicates, that there is still enough power for about 2 hours of light. If the
icon starts blinking, the lighting will be available only for a short time.
In the case of German bike versions compliant with the Highway Code, the light power is
supplied by a hub dynamo. In this case, the battery icon on the display does not matter for the
lighting.
If the operating computer is removed from the holder, the previously displayed battery power
status is stored and can be accessed anywhere.
