Continental bike versions are equipped with a hub dynamo on the front wheel (legal
requirement in Germany) to supply current for the lights. International bike versions benefit
from the high battery power on board. The lights are directly connected to the electrical system.
Front and rear lights on hub dynamo systems are connected and switched at the back of the
main headlight. You can choose between daylight, sensor control and 0 (off). On international
bike versions, the lights can be switched on/off with a button on the operating computer.

The rear lights of ave. Hybrid bikes have a bar-shaped beam (Linetec design) and therefore are
better to recognize from far distances, than ususal spot lights. In addition, your bike is equipped
with the required reflectors, integrated in the front head-lamp and another device at the rear,
as well as reflective tire strips, depending on the model.
IMPORTANT: If you participate in road traffic, a functioning lighting is mandatory, even it seems
not to be necessary to turn the lights on during the day. With daylight systems on board it is
suggested to go with lit lights by day. Traffic statistics show that lit vehicles (e.g. motorcycles)
have significantly fewer accidents than unlit.

or cracking and creaking noises of stem, fork tube, handlebar or seat tube appear, follow the
