Installing hydraulic hoses and connectors
Hoses
Adjust the length of the hoses, so that they are not straight or pulled
when using the machine.
Ensure that the hose does not twist when installing it and avoid
bending it too much.
Check that the hose is not damaged and that there is no tension.
Ensure that there is always a spare hose available, so that a damaged
hose can be replaced immediately.
Hydraulic connectors
Check the condition of the connectors to make sure that they are
not damaged. A damaged connector may cause the hose to break.
Replace a damaged connector immediately.
The connectors must be lubricated before installing them.
Install/attach the connectors by using the torque method or using the
hand tightening method, according to the instructions.
Torque method
• Install the connector collar between the pipe and
the front part of the connector by screwing it in with
your fingers.
• Tighten with a torque wrench.
