Adjusting the hydraulic pressure
Maximum pressure of every pressure line on the tower can be
adjusted with adjusting screw on the valve. Adjusting is done with
4mm hex key and 8mm spanner.
• Remove the plastic cover on top of the adjusting screw.
• Untighten the locking nut while holding the adjusting screw
with the hex key.
• Pressure level increases by tightening the screw and decreases
by loosening it.
• Check the pressure from the Service display diagnostics or
from a pressure gauge every ¼ turn.
• Tighten the locking nut when the correct pressure level his
reached. Remember to hold the adjusting screw on wanted
position with the hex key.
• Place the plastic cover back on top of the adjusting screw.
Checking the cylinders
The cylinders must be checked, when they are in the extreme position.
• Turn off the motor and unplug the cable. Make sure that it cannot be
plugged in by accident.
• Check that the piston rod (1) is undamaged and straight.
• Check that the cylinder liner (2) is undamaged.
• Check that there is nothing wrong with the cylinder fastening (3).
• Check that there are no leakages. Usually the leakages appear like
streaks of dirt (4).
To be noted:
• Do not remove a pressurised hydraulic hose and
always mechanically support the machine parts, before
unplugging the cables.
• Although the motor has been shut down, there can still be pressure in the connectors,
be careful.
• If the piston rod or the oil rings are damaged, a large amount of dirt may get into the
system. This may cause damage.
• Always change a bent piston rod immediately!
