Start the New command. On the command line, enter

NEW

In the Select template dialog box, select my_own_template.dwt, and then
choose Open.

Start the new drawing using the settings of the previously saved template.

Start the Mechanical Options command. On the command line, enter

AMOPTIONS

In the Options dialog box, AM:Standards tab, choose Browse.
