Creating Drawing Views

You can create a variety of drawing view for a part. Any changes made to the
part in Autodesk Inventor are automatically updated in the drawing views,
when the .dwg file is updated.

When you create a drawing view, the link reads parametric dimensions from
the model and adds them to the view.

To enable creation of parametric dimensions

Open the Options dialog box. On the command line, enter

AMOPTIONS

.

Select the AM:Drawing tab.

Under Parametric Dimension Display, select the Active Part Views check
box.
