CHAPTER 31 HA Overview

Mediant 4000 SBC | User's Manual

To define a name for the device:

1.

Open the HA Settings page (

Setup

menu >

IP Network

tab >

Core Entities

folder >

HA

Settings

).

2.

In the 'HA Device Name' field, enter a name for the active device.

3.

In the 'Redundant HA Device Name' field, enter a name for the redundant device.

4.

Click

Apply

.

Once the devices are running in HA mode, you can change the name of the redundant
device through the active device only, in the 'Redundant HA Device Name' field.
