– Remove the drive axle noise insulation -1- inside the right
wheel housing.
Note

Depending on the date of manufacture, an additional drive
axle heat shield -B- may be attached.
♦
The shape of the additional heat shield depends on the engine
and on the date of manufacture.
♦
Mark the installed position of the additional heat shield in color
before removing it.
– If equipped, mark the installed position of the heat shield -B-
to the heat shield -A-.
– Remove the bolts -1, 2 and 3- and then remove the right drive
axle heat shields.
– Remove the right subframe shield under the right drive axle.

– Remove left and right drive axles from transmission flange
shafts.
