All Vehicles
– Mount the -T10337- on the -VAG1383A- and place it under the
transmission.
– Raise the transmission slightly.
WARNING
There is the risk of an accident.
♦ The -VAG1383A- may only be used during assembly and
must not sit unsupervised under the vehicle.
– Remove the bolts from the tunnel crossmember -arrows-.
– Lower the transmission with the -VAG1383A- just far enough
until the transmission fluid pan is not touching the crossbrace.
– Vehicles with a heat shield: Remove heat shield -1- under the
selector mechanism function unit. Refer to the ⇒ Body Exte‐
rior; Rep. Gr. 66 ; Molding/Trim/Extensions/Trim Panels;
Overview - Heat Shield .
– Vehicles with noise insulation: remove the circlip -arrows-, re‐
move noise insulation -1-.
