3.4.9 PICTURE
Set functions for handling the displayed video image. Setting items are as follows.

Half Mask (*1) ON: Half masks (uses half brightness for) everything
outside the 4:3 area when using HD input.

Mask (*1) ON: Black masks (displays as black) everything
outside the 4:3 area when using HD input.

Mono ON: Displays the picture image in monochrome.

Blue Only ON: Displays the picture image in blue only.
OFF: Does not display in blue only. OFF
Green ON: Does not hide the green component of the
picture image.

Blue ON: Does not hide the blue component of the
picture image.
OFF: Hides the blue component of the picture image.

Red ON: Does not hide the red component of the picture
image.
OFF: Hides the red component of the picture image.

Peaking (*2) ON: Performs peaking on the picture image.
(However, operations are the same as OFF if
the peaking value is zero.)
OFF: Does not perform peaking.

Filter ON: Filters the bandwidth limit for the picture image.
OFF: Does not filter. ON
Chroma UP ON: Multiplies the chroma signal by three times.
However, a limit of 109% is applied.
OFF: Does not add processing to the chroma signal.

OverlayPic ON: Overlays the picture image in modes other than
Picture mode.
OFF: Does not overlay the picture image.
ON
OvPic Size Normal: Uses the same image size as picture mode
for the picture overlay.
Small: Decreases the image size of the picture
overlay.

*1: When ON is set simultaneously for Mask and Half Mask, Mask processing takes precedence.
*2: The peaking adjustment value is set according to the procedure given in4.2. Picture Mode 1.
