20.9 Replacing the Piezo Igniter

Figure 20.09.01:

Step 1:

Remove the two (2) 1/4" Tek screws securing the piezo

igniter bracket to the bottom of the fireplace shell.

Figure 20.09.02:

Step 2:

Unplug the wire from the piezo igniter.

Before you begin:

•

Ensure the fireplace is off and cool before servicing

• Ensure the gas supply is turned OFF and disconnect the power supply

•

Flip down the control access cover (see

Section 6.4

)

Remove the retaining nut from the back side of the

bracket.

Installation is the reverse of removal.
