20.5 Adjusting the Primary Air
The 22-DVIM22LN-1 includes an air shutter located underneath the firebox of the fireplace which may be used to adjust the primary
air to achieve the ideal flame as shown in
Figure 20.5.01
. To adjust, loosen the wing nut securing the air shutter in place as shown in
Figure 20.5.02
. To open the air shutter and increase air flow to the burner, pull the adjuster to the front of the fireplace. To close the air
shutter and decrease air flow to the burner, push the adjuster to the back of the fireplace.
CAUTION:
Do not adjust primary air below specified opening on the rating plate.
