10.9.3 Tank level - Level sensor mode
Fig. 54
The level sensor installed in the system allows displaying the tank level in real time (Par. 13.5 Display).
This mode operates correctly ONLY if the level sensor has been calibrated, or if the
calibration of a similar tank has been loaded from SD card.
The procedure is described here below, under Load/Save calibr., to page 26.
> Capacity
: the computer displays the tank capacity calculated after the calibration.
> Minimum level alarm
: indicate the range value.
The tank alarm activates when during the treatment the tank level falls below the set value (Par. 13.5 Display).
> Calibration
:
enters the calibration procedure of the level sensor.
Fig. 55
Level sensor can be calibrated ONLY if the system is equipped with a flowmeter (Par. 6.1).
Before starting the procedure carry out the following operations:
1
Make sure the main switch is in position
OFF
(Fig. 55).
2
Fill in the tank with clean water WITHOUT ADDING CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES.
The tank must be full.
Visually check the reached level.
3
From the job screen check that the manual mode is active (the display shows
Man.Reg.
).
Otherwise activate it by pressing
AUTO
(Par. 13.7.2).
4
Set the output to the maximum value by keeping the control valve switch pressed
(Fig. 55, nearly 7 s).
5
Switch off the computer and on again in advanced setup mode
(ACCESS TO ADVANCED SETUP MENU on page 20).
6
Enter the
Tank level
menu, activate the
Level sensor mode
(Fig. 54)
and select the
Calibration
item.
Bravo 300S requests to enter the tank capacity (Fig. 56): enter the value.
7
Immediately afterwards the computer passes to the calibration start screen (Fig. 57):
the
Press OK to start calibration
message blinks on the display.
Press
OK
: the calibration starts.
The
Enable spraying command!
message blinks on the display.
8
Start the spraying system: open, in succession, all section valves and the main control
(Fig. 55, switches in position
ON
).
9
The display will show in real time the quantity of sprayed water and the calibration status.
The message
CALIBRATION: [OK] to save/[ESC] to exit
blinks on the display.
Press
OK
to manually stop the calibration (and save it), and press
ESC
to interrupt it without saving.
10
If the calibration has not been manually ended, when the rate value reaches zero (Fig. 58) and
remains so for at least 10 s, Bravo 300S automatically finishes the procedure and displays the message
COMPLETE: OK to save and exit
.
Press
OK
: the calibration is completed.

> Zero calibration
: it accesses to the “zero” calibration of the level sensor.

If a fluid is detected in the tank even if it is empty, it is necessary to calibrate the level sensor zero.
- Press
OK
to reset the sensor residual signal.
