DBS9900 Driver Software

5.6 Clock

This class provides functions to communicate with the instrument to set the clock frequency to
less than .05% from the desired frequency, and to return important parameters and frequency
about the

•

clock

•

N counter,

•

Low Speed Divider,

•

High Speed Divider, and the

•

value for the Time Base Select.

These functions also route no clock, time base clock, Channel A or Channel B clock information
to the daughter boards.

Additionally, functions are provided which

•

set the value of the R and N counter,

•

sets the value of the High Speed and Low Speed Dividers,

•

specifies the threshold values for Clock A and Clock B,

•

sets the values needed to set the Trigger A and Trigger B zero crossing thresholds,

•

configures the FO_LD control bits,

•

facilitates power down and counter reset, and

•

controls the TB select lines on the Time Base control register.
