Calibration
Required Calibration Gases and Tubing
See “Specifications” for required pressure/flow of calibration gases.
The span gas is the high gas. The zero gas is the low gas.
Use dry calibration gases that are free of oil and dirt. Stainless steel tubing
is recommended.
The span gas must be 10 times greater than the zero gas.

Connections
Connect instrument air to the sensor purge inlet. Maintain the pressure
and flow as directed on the purge warning label.
The purge apparatus provided by Thermox meets requirements for
hazardous locations under certain conditions.
• Do not exceed the maximum temperature rating listed in the
Specifications Chapter.
