Box Temperature RTD Replacement
Remove power from the sensor and allow it to cool before replacing
parts inside the sensor.
To replace the box temperature thermocouple, do the following (see
Figure 7-4):
1. Remove the sensor cover to expose sensor components.
2. Disconnect RTD wires from terminals C and D on the sensor board.
3. Remove the screw on the finned heater block (see Figure 7-3).
4. Remove RTD from the mounting tab on finned heater block.
5. Insert new box thermocouple into the slot in the clamp on the finned
heater block.
6. Put the screw back in to the RTD mounting clamp; this secures the
RTD to the finned heater block.
7. Attach the RTD wires to teryellow Terminal C and - red to
Terminal D on the sensor board.
8. Apply AC line power to the sensor and allow sensor to warm up to
its box temperature set point temperature.
9. Perform a primary calibration.
