5.15 Min./max. pressure stage (all coulter types)


With ISOBUS system
If your seed drill has the min./max. pressure stages, you can conveniently adjust the coulter pressure
and increased seed rate on the control terminal in the tractor cab. The coulter lift function can also be
selected.
5.15.1 Coulter pressure and seed rate increase

A selection of 10 pressure stages (pressure stage 0 to pressure stage 10) is available for the coulter
pressure. Each pressure level can be assigned to a specific increased seed rate.
Enter the lower and upper coulter pressure on the control terminal, e.g. Stage 2 and Stage 8. If, for
example, the seed rate is to be increased at Stage 8, enter the seed rate increase [%].
To ensure that the exact following harrow or the roller harrow level the soil evenly even on heavy soils,
the exact following harrow pressure or roller harrow pressure can be increased along with the coulter
pressure increase.
When changing to heavy soils, call up the "Coulter pressure and harrow pressure" menu and actuate
the tractor control unit (green). The coulter pressure, the seed rate increase, and the harrow pressure
will be increased to the previously set value.
A potentiometer (Fig. 81/1) emits the control
pulses for the coulter pressure hydraulic cylinder
(Fig. 81/2). The lever for the potentiometer
engages in a slotted link (Fig. 81/3), which
moves the hydraulic cylinder when extending
and retracting.
The 10 pressure stages each correspond to a
lever position. When the potentiometer lever
reaches the desired pressure stage, the
hydraulic cylinder stops.
