7.3 Connecting the FTender on the 2nd distributor head
For simultaneous spreading, e.g. of seed and fertiliser, the Centaya can be combined with the
FTender front hopper. The "FTender" operating manual explains the operation of the front hopper.
The hose package, into which the metered
material is conveyed from the FTender to the
2nd distributor head on the Centaya, consists of

1 plastic tube (Fig. 149/1).
Note:
The tractor is shown with 2 plastic tubes.

flexible hoses (Fig. 149/2)

electrical and data cables (Fig. 149/3).

1. Fasten at least 2 holders (Fig. 150/1) on the
tractor. The holders are not included in the
scope of delivery.
For tractors with cab suspension, observe
the instructions from the tractor
manufacturer. Do not fasten the holders on
the suspended cab.
2. Mount the FTender and rear combination on
the tractor.
3. Set the combination down on level solid
ground.
4. Fasten the plastic tubes (Fig. 150/2) on the
holders horizontally or slightly descending
towards the FTender.

5. Connect the FTender and Centaya to the
plastic tubes with the flexible hoses (Fig.
151).
6. Adjust the length of the flexible hoses.
The hoses must not be bent or pinched
when

lifting and lowering the implement
combination for turning and for
transport

driving over crests during operation

driving through depressions during
operation.
Check that the steering axle of the FTender
can move freely in all operating states.
