Coulter pressure, seed rate increase, coulter lift (all coulter types)

Adaptation of the coulter pressure to the soil is required to achieve uniform seed placement depth on
different soils.
When changing to heavy soil, the hydraulically actuated coulter pressure adjustment enables
adaptation of the coulter pressure to the soil during operation. At the same time, more seed can be
spread.
To ensure that heavy soils are also evenly levelled when the coulter pressure is increased,
the exact following harrow pressure can be increased, see section 5.16, page 83.

The tractor control unit (green) is used for the
infinitely variable setting of the coulter pressure.
The pointer (Fig. 75/1) shows the current coulter
pressure on the scale.
