7.2.3 Uncoupling – Combination from the tractor
DANGER
Danger: the uncoupled combination may roll away from the
tractor.
Set the combination down only on a level parking area with firm
ground.
Secure the combination against rolling away before uncoupling it.
The pack top seed drill can be parked while
mounted on the soil tillage implement.
1. Put the combination in transport position,
see section "Transportation", page 168.
2. When the implement has the coulter lift and
the coulters are lifted, move the coulters
and harrow into working position, see
section "Coulter pressure, seed rate
increase, and coulter lift", page 151
3. Set the combination down on a level
parking area with firm ground.

4. Ensure that the combination does not roll
away.
4.1 Apply the tractor parking brake, switch
off the engine and remove the ignition
key.
4.2 Place e.g. 2 pieces of square timber
(Fig. 138/1) on both sides behind the
roller to prevent the combination from
rolling away.
5. Uncouple the soil tillage implement from the
tractor, see "Soil tillage implement"
operating manual.

Do not use the parking supports on
the seed drill if the seed drill is
parked while mounted on the soil
tillage implement. The parking
supports are not designed for this
load.
