10.7 Emptying the hopper and metering unit and
replacing the metering roller
CAUTION
Before working on the implement

couple the tractor and implement combination

lower the implement combination onto level solid ground

apply the tractor parking brake

switch off the control terminal

switch off the tractor engine

remove the ignition key

disconnect the power supply between the tractor and the
implement. Disconnect the implement plug (e.g. ISOBUS plug).
Risk of accident due to unintentional activation of the metering
units or other implement components caused by radar pulses.
DANGER
Dressing dust is toxic and must not be inhaled or come into
contact with the body.
Dressing dust can escape

when filling the implement

when emptying the hopper and metering unit

when cleaning and removing dressing dust

when working on the distributor head.
Wear protective clothing, face mask, protective goggles, and gloves.
