2.4.1

Typical test cases

Test cases 1 to 5 show the performance of the DLO for five different situations. For each of
these, the line voltages, the feeder breaker currents and the shunt reactor currents are
plotted as the relay analog inputs while the fault detector signal and open line decision are
the two digital outputs.

Case 1:

Long line with no fault being opened and reclosed at the remote end.
