• Select the drive mode as speed/torque (Par.
• Select the number of Followers attached to the drive (Par.
• Select the mode of the Follower drives (Par.
• Select the signal to be sent to the Follower as reference 1 (Par.

• Select the signal to be sent to the Follower as reference 2 (Par.

Set the following parameters in the Follower drive.

). The torque mode should be
selected if the Follower is to run in the load sharing mode.
• Select the control location as EXT2(Par.

• Select the Start/Stop control as COMM.CW if the Master command is to be used

for EXT2).
• Select the direction control as REQUEST (Par.

• Select the drive reference control as COMM.REF/FAST COMM. (Par.
EXT2). The FAST COMM selection should be used if the load sharing parameter
(Par.
) is to be functional.
• Set the load sharing factor (Par.
).
• Set the minimum reference limits (Par.
for EXT2).
• Set the maximum reference limits (Par.
• Select the CH2 communication link topology as ring (Par.
).
For hoist applications, both the Master and the Follower should have the pulse
encoder in use for speed feedback. Set the following parameters for encoder
configuration:
• Select the encoder module type (Par.
).
• Set the encoder PPR (Par.
• Select the speed measurement mode (Par.
• Select the speed feedback selection as ENCODER (Par.
).
