: Default cost, in the range of 1 to 16.
Description
Use the
default cost
command to set the default cost for redistributed routes.
Use the
undo default cost
command to restore the default.
By default, the default cost of a redistributed route is 1.
If no cost is specified when you use the
import-route
command to redistribute routes from another
routing protocol, the routes will be redistributed with the default cost specified with the
default cost
command.
