Speed
Select the link speed (
10
or
100
) in Mbps for the connection to the ONU.
Duplex
Select the duplex mode (
half
or
full
) for the connection to the ONU.
Flow Control
IEEE 802.3x flow control is used in full duplex mode to send a pause signal to
the sending port, causing it to temporarily stop sending signals when the
receiving port memory buffers fill.
Select this option to enable flow control for the connection to the ONU.
Port-based VLAN
This field displays the number of the port on the ONU.
PVID
Enter the port’s VLAN ID (between 1 and 4094). A VLAN tag reflecting the
PVID is inserted in the frame forwarded through the port.
Note: The ports must be in the same VLAN group to
communicate with each other.
Forwarding Table
Select the outgoing port(s) (in the
Forwarding Table
) through which traffic
from the port (in the
Port-based VLAN
field) is allowed to go.
To allow two ports to talk to each other, you must define the outgoing port for
both ports.
Upstream Priority Queue Size

to set the queue size for the upstream traffic.
Queue 0 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 0.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Queue 1 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 1.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Queue 2 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 2.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Queue 3 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 3.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Downstream Priority Queue Size

Queue 0 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 0.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Queue 1 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 1.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.

Specify the size (in byte) for queue 2.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
Queue 3 Size
Specify the size (in byte) for queue 3.
The number you entered is multiplied by 128.
