2 Check the hardware connections. See Section 2.3 on page 32 .
3 Inspect your cables for damage. Replace any damaged cables.
4 Turn the system power off and on.
5 If the problem continues, contact the vendor.
21.2 OMC Access and Login

I forgot the IP address for the OMC.
1 The default out-of-band IP address is 192.168.0.1.
2 Use the console port to log in to the OMC.

I forgot the password.
1 The default password is 1234 .
2 Contact customer support for how to reset your device to the factory defaults if you have
forgotten the password.

I cannot see or access the Login screen in the web configurator.
1 Make sure you are using the correct IP address.
• The default out-of-band IP address is
192.168.0.1
• If you changed the IP address, use the new IP address.
• If you changed the IP address and have forgotten it, see the troubleshooting
suggestions for I forgot the IP address for the OMC.
2 Check the hardware connections, and make sure the LEDs are behaving as expected. See
OLT-2300’s User’s Guide and
Chapter 2 on page 31 .

Make sure your Internet browser does not block pop-up windows and has JavaScripts
and Java enabled. See
Section 21.6 on page 197 .

Make sure your computer is in the same subnet as the OMC. (If you know that there are
routers between your computer and the OMC, skip this step.)
5 Reset the device to its factory defaults, and try to access the OMC with the default IP
address. See
Section 21.5 on page 195 .
6 If the problem continues, contact the network administrator or vendor, or try the
