Appendix 1 Relationship between the Time Scale,
Record Length, and Sample Rate
The maximum sample rate in scope mode varies depending on the installed module.
For the relationships between the record length and Time/div under the following conditions, see the
subsequent pages.
Condition in Which the Sample Rate Is 100 MS/s Maximum
• When a High-Speed 100 MS/s, 12-Bit Isolation Module is installed
Condition in Which the Sample Rate Is 10 MS/s Maximum
• When a High-Speed 100 MS/s, 12-Bit Isolation Module is not installed and any of the following
modules is installed
• High-Speed 10 MS/s, 12-Bit Isolation Module
• Logic Input Module
• When a module is not installed
(When only the logic input channels CH5 and CH6 are in use)
Condition in Which the Sample Rate Is 1MS/s Maximum
When none of the following modules is installed but a different module is installed
• High-Speed 100 MS/s, 12-Bit Isolation Module
• High-Speed 10 MS/s, 12-Bit Isolation Module
• Logic Input Module
If the Time/div is set to 100 ms or higher in scope mode, roll mode display is used when the trigger
mode is auto, single, or on-start.
