WARNING
Cables that withstand temperatures of at least 80°C should be used for wiring.
CAUTION
Using a channel card installed without 2 screws tightened, may result in poor resistance to noise.
Precautions in Processing Shields
When a shielded cable is required for wiring, follow the instructions below to process
the shield.
(1) All the shields should be connected on the averaging converter side: Connect to the
cable shield
ground terminals inside the averaging converter.
(2) The shields should not be connected on the other side of the cable. To avoid any
possible
contact with housings of instruments connected or metal parts, conductors of
the shields should
be processed using insulating tapes or in an appropriate way.
(3) The shields should be connected to the cable shield ground terminals immediately
after the
cable is inserted into the averaging converter through the wiring hole.
Having a long distance between the wiring hole and the cable end where the shield
goes out,
may result in poor resistance to noise.
