Web Service (if available)
The Web Service button on the machine, if available, enables users to view Internet or Intranet web
servers on the machine’s User Interface, and to send scanned files to web servers through job flow sheets,
if the server login and password are valid as entered on the job flow sheet. In addition to performing the
set up procedure described here, make sure to refer to the
Proxy Server Settings
topic, in the
Network
Connectivity
section of this guide, for instructions on setting up Proxy Server parameters (similar to
setting up connections for a standard web browser). To set up and use Job Flow Sheets with Mailboxes,
refer to that topic in the Options section of this guide.
1.
Press the
Log In / Out
button to enter System Administration Mode.
2.
On the keypad enter [11111] or the current password. Touch
Enter
when finished.
3.
Press the
Machine Status button
on the Control Panel, then touch the
Tools tab
.

Use the arrow control in the
Group
menu to scroll to
Web Browser Setup
.

Touch
Web Browser Setup

Touch
Access to Web Sites
, then touch
Change Settings
.

Touch
Enabled
, then touch
Save
.

Select any other settings of interest and use the
Change Settings
and
Save
buttons, as required.

to return to the Tools tab screen.
Enable the WebDAV port (for name space management)

reboot the machine.

Return to the WebDAV settings screen and verify that the
Port Number
is set to 80 and that a
Timeout
value (30 or more seconds) has been set.
9.
Make any changes desired, then touch
Close
repeatedly until the Tools tab screen is displayed.
10. Wait several seconds for the Auto Clear service to log you out.
