Overview of the Production Ready Finishers

Three Production Ready (PR) Finishers are available with your printer:

• Production Ready (PR) Finisher

• Production Ready (PR) Booklet Maker Finisher

• Production Ready (PR) Finisher Plus

Note: Throughout this chapter, the PR Finisher, PR Booklet Maker Finisher, and PR Finisher Plus are referred
to simply as the finisher. Any differences between the finishers are distinguished by using the specific

finisher name.

The Production Ready Finisher and Production Ready Booklet Maker Finisher provide the following capabilities:

• Handling media as small as A5, 148 x 210 mm (5.83 x 8.27 in.)

• Handling large-sized media, with the following maximum sizes:

–

330.2 x 488 mm (13 x 19.2 in.) for the stacker tray and the booklet tray

–

330.2 x 660 mm (13 x 26 in.) for the top tray

The Production Ready Finisher consists of a top tray, a stacker tray, and a variable-length stapler and optional hole-
punch. The Production Ready Finisher also includes an Inserter Module. The Inserter Module allows you to insert
pre-printed or plain separator sheets into the printed output at specific locations. The Production Ready Finisher can
staple up to 100 sheets with one or two staples.

The Production Ready Finisher Plus provides the same features as the Production Ready Finisher, but also adds a
Finishing Transport Module, which enables an inline connection to available third-party finishing devices.

The Production Ready Booklet Maker Finisher provides the same features as the Production Ready Finisher, but also
creates booklets of up to 30 sheets.

Note: There are several options available that supplement the features of the Production Ready Finishers,
including Basic Punch, C/Z Folder, and Crease and Two-Sided Trimmer. The Production Ready Booklet Maker

Finisher also offers the SquareFold Trimmer. For details on these options, refer to their respective appendices.
