All search databases that
you create are displayed
here. Pagis Folders is the
default database.

The view area of the Search Database Manager shows the
databases that have been defined on your system. Initially, only
the default Pagis Search Database is shown. This is the default
database for scanned documents.
The column headings provide a variety of information. For
example, one column notes when the database was last modified
(that is, when files were added to the database during an update).
Other columns describe which directories are included in, and
excluded from, the database, and the file extensions (and,
therefore, file types) included in the database.
For each database, you can use the Database menu commands
described in the following subsections to modify these attributes,
or click on the corresponding icons on the Search Database
Manager Toolbar.
Create Search Database command
The Create Search Database command displays a dialog box
where you can define a new database (Figure 4–59).
